About the Artist

Brittany Cristiano
Heyyyy! Since you made it this far I'd just like to thank you so much for checking out my site and supporting me as small business!! 🧡
A lil bit about me; My name is Brittany Cristiano, but most of my family and friends just call me "B" for short. I am an independent artist based out of Tampa Florida. I have been drawn to the arts since a child, always drawing, and creating things out of paper, clay, fabric, whatever I could get my hands on. I was religiously making homemade gifts and cards, or trying to teach myself a new instrument. As I got older, I naturally began appreciating museums and theatre more and more.
However, I truly started my art journey in college where, although I earned my degree in Psychology, I took as many art elective classes as I possibly could. I remember wanting to somehow combine my passion for art and psychology so I started as a preschool teacher. Then, as my passion for art grew, I eventually worked my way further into the field by becoming an art instructor at a local studio. After years of working there, I was blessed to finally land my dream job. I became the lead art instructor for a local program teaching adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.
I feel so blessed to have been able to teach such a variety of different ages throughout the years, and even more so with the opportunity to learn from fellow artists. I was also blessed with the opportunity to illustrate a published children's book, "Glory" shout out to Sarah Christensen, and am grateful to say more illustrations on the way. You catching the pattern yet? Blessings on Blessings on blessings.
However, life eventually brought a season of unexpected challenges. Sadly, due to impact of Covid-era regulations, and several profound personal losses unrelated, including but not limited to that of my grandparents and little brother, may they all rest in peace, I eventually decided to step down from my position and focus on my mental health. After a few years of therapy and a good support system, I am since feeling much much better, and have a fresh, brighter outlook on life. Despite all the bad and ugly going on in the world, I'm finally able to see more clearly all the little ways that the universe has blessed me. All of the connections I've made, all of the interactions that taught me valuable lessons, all of the beauty I've still been able to witness along the way.
The name Blessed B was inspired both by my own journey and the humble bee. 🐝
Bees remind us that everything in nature is connected. Through their work, flowers bloom, gardens flourish, and life continues to grow. They gather what's good, transform it, and then share it with the world. I created Blessed B from that same belief. Ive been blessed in countless ways through creativity, nature, lessons, and love. My goal is to transform those blessings into something meaningful through art and handmade creations, then pass that beauty on to others. Like the bee, I hope to leave every place a little brighter, every connection a little sweeter, and every creation filled with purpose. So blessed be ~ to you, from me.
~ Love always,
B 🧡
